Tandem Flying is the easiest way to experience paragliding!

One of our highly qualified and experienced BHPA instructors will be at the dual controls during the critical take off and landing phases, however you may well be invited to take over in mid flight! It is the best way to learn to fly paragliders!

Locations: Isle of Wight base. We have many private sites here and lots of overseas options too.
Deposit: Full payment due before flying please. We take debit card payment over the phone Cheques could be sent to the address above but card is much prefered.
Insurance: All clients will become members of the BHPA. This confers £2,000,000 third party liability cover. One day, Three month (student memberships); and annual memberships can be arranged on arrival. We strongly recommend you consider personal accident insurance, this is widely available on the internet.
Weather: We are very dependent on conditions.You should call us the day before to check if you are not yet making your own forecasts. A wind speed of 10-12 mph on the tv chart is usually pretty good for us, if it is from the west or southwest. Call me on 07840491981
  • You should notify us about any medical conditions or injuries you have prior to take-off.
  • Ideally; wear long sleeves, long trousers, gloves and boots with good ankle support. i.e. wear warm layers of clothing – it’s colder up higher!
  • Bring some water or isotonic drink
  • Sunscreen
  • Call as soon as possible, our timetable gets very crowded!!!
  • Bring some cash or a debit card to cover your costs, as the nearest cashpoints to us are not near.

Ideally call us the day before (and definitely before you set off) to check our flying weather forecast – then you can get super-excited if we’re ‘on’!
