GLIDERS AND FLYING EQUIPMENT
http://www.flybgd.com/ Good luck, Bruce Goldsmith Designs very excellent gliders Tala now certified and getting great reviews as a top 'C' wing.
Bruce is one of the three Isle of Wight skygods who has won hang gliding championships and the paragliding world championship.
The boy is a full on genius. Still flying, still competing, still winning everything.... consistently making superb wings. Bruce Goldsmith really is Mr Paragliding.
Always worth a look. The first glider I flew from Gin was an Airman back in '86. Since then he has gone from strength to strength, becoming a pivotal figure in the industry.
Always very cool stuff. The Atlas seems to be reviewed as top wing for 2013
Hannes is another master of design from the beginning. Landmark gliders most years including amazing Mentor 2 and now Mentor 3.
Ozone Gliders Isle of Wight club members Robbie, John and Bruce started it off, going strong in all departments now.
A respected brand worldwide, huge range of paragliding kit and kitesurfers too!
They are always in the frame with safe predictable wings that simply do the business, very well indeed!
They are the Mercedes-Benz of light flying kit. Call to set up a test flight soon, better bring your credit card with you.... you will want to keep this wing!
New boys on the block a few years ago but now but a great reputation, full range and top competition results.
Our mates in Interlaken love Niviuk and each year come over here fora holiday to play along the cliffs.
We like everything we have seen from Skywalk. The wings have great sink rates. They are quick and they handle in an a well coordinated fashion.
What else could you want? Radical new fabric, sharp styling, Teutonic quality..... OK, that too!.....
Made in CZ where all the areo engineers come from. Gradient seem to take the competition honours more and more now.
Definitely a top brand at the top end of performance, but the mid range Aspen is a delight to fly and the Golden just gets a better reputation with each iteration.
French harnesses and accessories form the original vol-bivouac master, Pierre.
He really tests everything, if it is a harness, chances are it will be a Sup-Air and it will be excellent. Now Pierre has flown to the top of Mont Blanc, amazing feat!
They are simply excellent, Clive is a careful and painstaking designer with a lotof paramotor flight experience who has taken the industry standard layout and tweaked every detail. He has evolved it into a really user friendly piece of kit.
Thoroughly recommended to try one, maybe after trying oneor two other marques in order to appreciate the subtle but very significant advantages.
Giles is a really extraordinary engineer and classic English eccentric.; Involved in the first expedition to paramotor above Everest. Respect!
Airgate Paramotor An amazing patented development for paramotoring, but not for the beginner really. Czech engineering is really hot. Butterfly on the Isle of Wight is the importer and test centre. Think of the motor as a launch method for your glider. Proper flying when you want it: motor on up to cloudbase, then motor off while you fly the thermals. It's more like motor launch paragliding; proper laid-back weight shift. SoOo cool!
